Bringing new brand purpose to life
Background: After months of working with the wonderful people at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, the team commissioned us to help launch their new brand identity and itineraries.
Approach: We were excited to produce and creatively direct two exclusive launch events at the OXO tower on the banks of the River Thames, which took place just weeks before the Covid-19 lockdown officially began. We delivered all the event content – from printed collateral to the production of three landmark films which encapsulated the brand’s purpose, direction and destinations. Through our suite of films, we were also able to establish how the new brand look and feel would translate across video content into the future.
Outcome: Yet – what a future. The scale of the impact of the virus became clear soon after, and everything changed dramatically. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines quickly stopped cruising, with the safety of passengers and crew at the very heart of its decisions. With a loyal guest base, and a growing market of new passengers who were finding its message of ‘Small Ships for a Big World’ appealing, Fred. Olsen had to adapt, reassuring guests and staying connected. We continue to support Fred. Olsen with remotely filmed update messages from its Senior Leadership Team.
